The Stinky Onion (2017)

Our first trip to the great city of Chicago! It was a lovely weekend. We stayed at a hotel with an Irish pub next door and a fancy tablet with overlay help in the room.

The first morning, we started the adventure at the epitome of tourist attractions - the bean in Chicago Park. We had a blast walking through the park and checking out the various sculptures.

The highlight of the trip was the boat architecture tour. One part education session, one part cruise, and one part dad jokes - what's not to love? It was a relaxing and fun way to spend the afternoon.

Next stop: Navy Pier! We, of course, had to take a ride on the giant Ferris wheel. The view was lovely and the pods were air conditioned (bonus!).

What would be the best way to cap off a lovely Chicago trip? A White Sox game, of course! I don't remember who they played, who won, or really anything about the game, but an afternoon at the ballpark is always a good time.
